Fouth of July!
We're taking the day off on the Fourth of July. No moves will be going on and the office will be closed. We'll reopen for business on the 5th. We hope you all have a safe, happy, cook out and fire work filled (if that's your thing....) holiday!

Website Upgrade!
We've just completed a major overhaul to our company website. We're really proud of how it turned out. Here are just some of the changes:
- More information about moving van permits and how they work
- An expanded link section with links to businesses we work with and organizations we belong to
- Information about how and what we recycle
- A section about how we participate in our community
- An expanded section on our rates, including rush rates, extra charges, insurance, and disposal
Go take a look and tell us what you think! We'd love to hear from you about ease of use, comprehensiveness of information, etc. We think we've now got best site for a moving company in the Boston area!

Holiday Lights and Christmas Tree Deliveries
I'm not a big fan of how Christmas starts to make an appearance earlier and earlier every year. Miniature Santas sit right next to Halloween pumpkins in stores now and it drives me nuts.
However, I do think its important to mention this holiday related item earlier rather than later (and at least I waited until after Halloween!). We workt with a company called Cambridge Lights. They deliver Christmas trees and will also put up lights on your house or in your yard. Considering what a hectic time of year most people find the holidays Cambridge Lights can be a real life saver in helping you get ready for the holidays.
Give them a call if you'd like to discuss either tree delivery or lighting options. There are a few standard options for trees, but they're also happy to take special orders.
Don't forget to enjoy Thanksgiving in the meantime, though!

We Joined Facebook (Finally)
Yup, we did it. As of yesterday Intelligent Labor and Moving officially has a page on Facebook. We're totally new to using this site, so right now the page is bare bones, but we'll be working on it, adding pictures and posting news as we get more comfortable making our way around.
Come like us on Facebook or post something on our wall! And I'll try to figure out how to do the same....

Back from vacation
Well, two weeks away certainly felt good. And that picture from the last post almost does what we saw justice. Almost.
Anyway, back to blogging about moving and moving related topics in posts to come. Not that I couldn't go on and on about vacation but people who didn't get two weeks in the sun probably wouldn't appreciate that.
We've got some big news coming up for our company. When we're ready to share it the news will show up here, on our twitter account, our website, etc. We're pretty excited about it...
